Can I do it? Yes I can!

My life to being fit and healthy

Pain and growth

Well after another restless night due pain.  Although I have to confess Martin just said Dayna woke 6 times and he had to put her back into bed or settle her. I got to sleep through most of that. I woke feeling sore and struggled to manoeuvre out of bed.

We were running late from the start as still adjusting to Daylight Saving.  We got Dayna to day-care 1hour late and headed to the mall.  Needed new lingerie as my other is to loose, also the kids need sandals for summer.  The mall had a little concert on for the kids so after 2 hours at the mall we were ready to pick up the milk and fresh fruit from the supermarket.  Just getting in the car was agonising.  I can’t believe what damage (that’s what it feels like) the Ab Jam has done.

The rest of the day is the usual young family scenarios.  Although I did try to see if I was able to run and just the motion was jarring all the sore spots.  I can’t even put my hands on my hips.  I realised my run/walk was in jeopardy but didn’t want to trade days with tomorrow as we are going to the zoo which has some impressive hills to get to the different animals.  Anyway I opted for a walk to at least keep the routine in play.  Dayna wanted to come along.

I started the walk and realised even this was sore.  I carried on feeling sore every step this was making me exhausted and puffed.  Well I coped with 25mins and wished I was Dayna asleep in the buggy.

Well you know how sore I am so I won’t bore you more with my agonising droning.

The great and exciting thing is Dayna is nearly toilet trained with wees at least.  She has had a few near misses where she starts and then asks to go.  So the nappy saving is going to be great and the excitement of our little girl becoming a BIG girl.  Dayna also has her appointment to get her hearing aid so 30 October she will experience a new world.

Hi

You’ve mentioned your hips are sore and I was trying to figure out what stretches you can do to ease it, but I can’t quite understand the pain in the hips. Is it more from pressure laying on your side?

I know when I’ve had a really full-on ab session it can hurt for several days. If I don’t stretch straight away I suffer quite a bit and even laughing can be agonising.

I love the name of your theme, Kissass. It’s a bit like what you’re doing with your training/eating programme :D

I meant that. My brain and fingers aren’t always in communication.

How about putting a cushion or pillow up against your hip area or just tucked under.

It might help you from rolling forward, and if you did happen to roll then it would “cushion” you.
