Just remembered
Don’t know if I mentioned a few things.
Because Dayna is deaf in one ear the Audiology dept want to check Isaiah too. He has his appointment and 1 hour of tests on 17th December
Dayna is scheduled for surgery on 23 January. may move forward if someone can’t make it as on holiday.
Due to our friends moving they are giving us their trampoline. Cool. Martin isn’t so sure. We do intend to buy one with the safety net but this is great in the mean time. The kids will love it.

Hi Bernadine. I didn’t know (or have I forgotten) Dayna was having surgery. What is it hoped the surgery will do? I assume it’s her ears or is it the lump?
It’s good the hospital want to check Isaiah. Very thorough.

I am sure I mentioned the surgery months ago when Dayna was first diagnosed deaf but was ona waitlist so wasn’t sure if i had mentioned it lately.
She is going to have the grommets removed the gunge cleaned out and if the adnoids are enlarged the laser them to make them smaller and then reinsert the grommets.
If the adnoids are done she may have a sore throat for a few days.
She has had a grommet sitting in the ear but not in place for months which has triggered the constant ear infections and is what made us take her back to the specialist and then we found out she is deaf.
