Wow
Ok so I know you are wondering what the outcome is of the radio contest. I have to tell you a story first. Because I thought they may announce it yesterday and I didn’t know if by phone call, email or just names over the radio. I had the radio on all morning and also had my cellphone with me and on. I had the kindy drop off to do and then went to do some errands. So I didn’t miss out I had my MP3 going the whole time with the earphones around my neck so I wasn’t being too rude. I did not hear anything either way. Wonder if the teams are now chosen and on Monday morning they do the announcements. Here’s hoping.
I did get up and do my Turbo Jam session as well.
After shopping and doing some errands went to pick Martin up as he finished early and then we needed to get Isaiah from Kindy. The poor kids must have been tired as we had the groceries to do and they were driving us insane with their fighting and backchat. Amazing though as Dayna is toilet trained through the day now ,Yahoo
we don’t need the nappies but yet the grocery budget still dwindled quickly. Shows the cost of groceries is disgusting, we didn’t buy many treats either just the fruit, veg, meat, bread all the items that cost. I wanted to buy butter but not at $4.56 for the cheapest.
To relax for the evening NOT. We watched Top Chef but in the ads put the groceries away and then rather than turning off the TV we watched 2 lame programmes.
I got up this morning as had 4 of us in the bed so no sleep in as cramped and bruised from the hitting and kicking they do in their sleep. I got up and folded 2 loads of laundry, put a load on, did the dishes from yesterday, sorted kids breakfast and then finally got ready for my 1 hour cycle. The weather is calm but rain is expected. I travelled down Cambridge Terrace as thought it would be a bit safer than High Street. I rode to Central Lower Hutt and back. To do this I had to go over the Wingate Bridge each way so they were my hills. It was easy enough at the start but to get over after 45mins cycling nearly killed me, I thought I would have to get off and walk it, I didn’t though.
I still had 15mins to go so rode around suburbia. I did it but boy my tail bone hurt. Through the ride I tried to readjust but even releasing the pressure hurt. I thought I would need to sit on a cushion today.
I checked my route on a map programme and I rode 14.26km. Wahoo that was exciting. I love the programme as so detailed and accurate.
Well doing the ride has restored some of my confidence in this journey I just have to regroup on the eating. My run day is tomorrow so lets see how 1.5kms feels like.
